This is a calendar highlighting a number of important dates in progressive history. It includes the birth and death dates of pacifists, anarchists, libertarian socialists, feminists, political musicians and peace, justice and earthcare martyrs. It also includes the dates of many important events in movement history, and days of the year set aside to reflect on various progressive topics.
I have tried to strike a balance of including a fair range of people and events, but not including every tiny event of the slightest significance. I have not, for the most part, included politicians or statesmen, preferring to focus on thinkers and activists who were out of power. I hope the reader finds this listing both useful and inspiring.
